HUMAN DESIGN CHART EXAMPLE: MANIFESTOR 3/6 EXPLAINED SIMPLY
What does a Human Design chart look like in practice?
Many explanations remain abstract—lines, centers, definitions. But it’s only through a concrete example that you can truly understand how Human Design works.
On this page, I’ll show you a specific Human Design chart and explain step by step what it means—simply, clearly, and without jargon.
You’ll see how type, profile, and energy manifest in everyday life.
A HUMAN DESIGN CHART AT A GLANCE
Let’s take the example of a Manifestor with the 3/6 profile. Our analysis for a person with this profile would look like this:
1
WHAT DOES “MANIFESTOR” MEAN IN HUMAN DESIGN?
This is a powerful chart! As a 3/6 Manifestor, you belong to a group of people who are here to get things moving without having to wait for permission or opportunities. You are an “initiator.”
Here is the detailed analysis of your chart, broken down into your energetic mechanics, your centers, and your specific profile.
1. YOUR TYPE: THE MANIFESTOR
You make up about 9% of the human population. Unlike most people (the Generators), you don’t have to wait for life to bring you something. You have an inner impulse and just get started.
Your strategy: Inform. This may sound trivial, but it is your most important tool. Since you have a very closed, dense aura, others often don’t know what you’re up to, which can seem threatening. When you inform others about your next steps (not ask for permission!), you smooth out resistance and take the pressure off your environment.
Your signature: Peace. When you inform others and follow your impulse, you feel calm.
Your non-self: Anger. When you’re restricted or try to work like a machine, you get angry.

2. THE DEFINED CENTERS (YOUR RELIABLE ENERGY)
The colored areas in the chart represent your core strengths. This is where you consistently radiate energy.
THROAT CENTER (DEFINED)
Your center for expression and manifestation is strongly activated. You have an enormous impact with what you say and do. Through the channels to the spleen and the ego center, your voice is either intuitively guiding or expresses your personal will.
SPLEEN CENTER (YOUR AUTHORITY: SPLEEN MANIFESTOR)
You possess spleen authority. This means your intuition speaks in the here and now—uniquely, quietly, and in a flash.
Channel 16-48 (Channel of Talent): You have the ability to achieve true mastery in things through constant repetition and depth. You intuitively sense what works and what doesn’t.
Important: You must decide spontaneously. If you start mulling over a decision, you’ve already missed the moment of the spleen.
HEART CENTER / EGO (DEFINED)
This is the center of willpower. You have access to a constant engine for material success and self-worth.
Channel 21-45 (The Money Channel): You are here to have control over your own resources. You dislike being told how to spend your money or do your work. You are a natural “leader” or “owner” of your own realm.

3. THE UNDEFINED CENTERS (YOUR AREAS OF GROWTH)
The white areas are where you are open to the energy of others. Here, you perceive and amplify what comes from the outside.
Sacral Center (Open): As a Manifestor, you don’t have the sustained working energy of a Generator. You work in short, intense bursts and then need plenty of rest. Important: Go to bed before you’re completely exhausted.
Solar Plexus (Open): You are emotionally empathetic. You absorb others’ feelings and amplify them. Learn to distinguish: “Is this my anger or my counterpart’s?”
G-Center (Open): Your identity and direction in life can change depending on your environment. You are a chameleon. The right environment is crucial for you to feel comfortable.
Root Center (Open): You feel external pressure (deadlines, stress) very strongly. Don’t let yourself be rushed.
Head & Ajna (Open): You are open to all kinds of ideas and concepts. You don’t need to have fixed opinions; instead, enjoy surfing through the world of thoughts like an observer.

4. YOUR PROFILE: 3 / 6 (MARTYR / ROLE MODEL)
This is one of the most complex combinations in Human Design, as your life unfolds in three distinct phases.
THE 3 LINE (MARTYR/EXPERIMENTER)
You learn through “trial and error.” You have to try things out, hit walls, and figure out what doesn’t work. This isn’t failure; it’s your way of gathering wisdom. You’re a natural detector of flaws in systems.
THE 6 LINE (THE ROLE MODEL)
Your life journey has three phases:
Phase 1 (0–30 years): You live like a 3-line. It’s often chaotic; you try out many things (jobs, relationships) and gain a lot of experience.
Phase 2 (30–50 years): You “go up on the roof.” You withdraw emotionally a bit, observe the world, and try to understand how life really works. You become more objective.
Phase 3 (50 years and older): You “come down from the roof” and become an authentic role model. You embody the wisdom you’ve gathered through trial and error during the first 30 years.
Summary
SUMMARY FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
You are a powerful person who can make a big difference, as long as you gather information before you get started. Trust your first, instinctive impulse (spleen) and allow yourself to try things out, even if they don’t work out in the end—that’s exactly what will make you so wise later on.
